Kati Frazier is a playwright, dramaturg, and theater administrator from North Carolina, now based in Brooklyn. They have a deep artistic interest in magical realism, non-linear timelines, liminal spaces, and the queering of structure. Their most recent full-length, Untitled Calamity Jane Play, was a semifinalist for Unicorn Theatre’s In-Progress series and they were a 2018 member of the Harold Clurman Playwrights Division. Short Plays My Emotions are Too Big For This Room and Girlfight were published by Smith & Krauss in 2017. Other recent works include a sex thing (or a bunch of liberals getting uptight about the sociopolitical implications of their desires) produced at Brooklyn’s The Brick and HERE, and Patronage produced by Random Access Theatre Company.
