Maya Jasmin is a Japanese-Polish actress, born and raised in Germany. She is an alumni of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and has worked in NYC as actress for stage, film and voice-over.Recent stage credits, both in New York and Germany, include roles in the production of “Das Interview” (Frankfurt LAB), “Sommernachtstraum” (Frankfurt LAB), The Melting Pot (Everyday Inferno Theatre Company), Two Rooms (Access Theatre), Full Circle (Manhattan Repertory Theatre), Bromance-A-Roni (Midtown International Theatre Festival).
Maya also made her TV debut in Germany with her role on “Aktenzeichen XY” in December 2019.
Maya also made her directorial debut with her own award-winning short film “Rooftops of my city”, which was shot entirely in Brooklyn and is in German and Swiss German.
